Privacy policy

Effective October 1, 2026 · applies to the Northline iOS app and web app

The short version

Your tasks, plans, photos and settings are stored on your device. Northline doesn't sell data, show ads or track you. The only time anything leaves your device is when you ask Northline Assistant for help (described below).

What is stored, and where

What we don't do

Northline Assistant

Some features (Build it for me and its questions, Ask Northline, Show me how, Organize, and cleaning up a spoken task) can use Northline Assistant. The app asks for your permission the first time. Simple requests, like changing your weekly time or adding a step, are handled on your device. When the assistant is needed:

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally by your device. Their content never leaves it.

Future cloud sync

If an optional sync feature is added, this policy will be updated before it ships. It will explain what is sent, where it is stored, and how to delete it, and sync will be off unless you turn it on.

Children

Northline doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Assistant requests are processed only to answer them, as described above.
